Lemonade stand

Today Life handed me lemons. I barely knew Life, and felt uncomfortable taking them.

"I give them to everyone. God, I'm not hitting on you or anything!" he barked.
"Fine, free produce," was all I could think of to say, but I wondered if they weren't given to me with a hidden agenda. Poisonous? Tainted with a virus? No worries.

I made lemonade with water from the well, and sugar borrowed from my neighbor Shirley.

Money out of pocket, zero.

Profit made, $17.50.

Which would be great, but I'm really thirsty, and I charge $17.50 a glass.
